Konjiki is the latest culinary venture from a passionate, family-run team with a deep appreciation for authentic Japanese cuisine passed down through two generations. Konjiki is founded by us — brothers — alongside our parents, who bring over 40 years of experience as chefs. Growing up around the kitchen, we developed a deep love for Japanese cuisine, and now, we’re taking that passion to the next level. We are dedicated to celebrating the beauty and depth of Japanese culinary traditions.

 

For over 15 years, our Sakura restaurants in Portsmouth and Southampton have been a beloved destination for Japanese dining along the south coast. Konjiki marks the next chapter in our journey, where we take our craft to new heights, maximising the artistry of traditional Japanese techniques while embracing modern innovation to redefine dining excellence.
